Starting 8/2/20, our Mass schedule is as follows.
Sunday. 9 AM in English, 11 AM in Spanish, 1 PM in English.
Monday to Friday. 12:10 PM in English.
In line with Cardinal Tobin’s health and safety guidelines for Mass during the COVID-19 pandemic, we welcome up to 150 attendees to each Mass. However, please take note of the following:
1. Everyone who wishes to attend Mass must register here for Sunday Mass, and here for weekday Mass. This is to monitor compliance with the 150 attendee maximum, and to enable contact tracing if necessary. NOTE: Registration opens every Friday afternoon for Masses that Sunday and for the coming week. For example, if 8/3 is a Sunday, then registration opens on Friday 8/1 for that Sunday 8/3, and for the week that follows, Monday 8/4 to Friday 8/8.
2. The 9 AM English Mass and 11 AM Spanish Mass on Sunday will continue to be live-streamed through the parish Facebook page. Note a Facebook account is NOT required to go to this page or join the livestream. Starting Monday 7/27, we will discontinue the live-streaming of weekday Masses, except for special feast days.
3. Cardinal Tobin urges all those with underlying health issues or who are 60 years or older to remain at home. He reminds us that we continue to be dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday.
4. If you register for Mass, you must be at St. Aedan’s 30 minutes before Mass on Sunday, and 15 minutes before Mass on weekdays. When you arrive, ensure you are wearing a mask, enter the church, and check in with the parish volunteer at the door. The volunteer will lead you to your designated seat. Please remain in your designated seat, and do not remove the cords on the pews. They are in place to ensure social distancing.
5. Note if you have NOT registered in advance and the 150 person capacity is reached, it is possible that you may not be able to enter the church. Please do not be angry at the parish volunteers or the priests — this is all in line with the safety mandates of Cardinal Tobin, the CDC, and the State. Again, we encourage signing up for Mass to avoid this.
6. There will be no group prayer before Mass, only private / silent prayer.
7. Parishioners are welcome to light candles before Mass. Candles will already be in place and the donations can be dropped into the white box marked “Candle Money.”
8. There will be no collections during the offertory at Sunday Masses. Instead, Mass attendees can drop their offerings in the baskets at the church exits after each Mass. Alternatively, all are encouraged to make your offerings online through ParishGiving.
9. After the Final Blessing of each Mass, parishioners are asked to leave the Church in silence, exercising social distancing as they go. This will allow the Saint Peter’s University cleaning service to sanitize the Church after each Mass.
10. Be bring your own hand sanitizer to church.
11. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! To help keep our Masses safe for everyone, we need volunteers who can help with the following:
Checking off families and others from the online signup sheet
Serving as ushers to help people sit in the designated pews
Assisting with guiding people to the Communion stations
Being at the doors at the end of Mass holding the collection baskets
Assisting the priest with locking up the Church so that the University cleaning crew can sanitize the space.

En conformidad con las directrices de salud y seguridad aprobadas por el Cardenal Tobin durante la pandemia del COVID-19, un máximo de 150 personas podrá asistir a cada Misa. Sin embargo, por favor tome nota también de estos puntos:
1. Todos los que quieran asistir a la Misa deberán inscribirse aquí para misa dominical, y insciribirse aqui para misa de lunes a viernes. Esta inscripción nos permitirá admitir a no más de 150 personas por Misa y hacer la localización de contactos si hace falta.
2. Las Misas dominicales de las 9 AM en inglés y 11 AM en español seguirán siendo transmitidas en vivo a través de la página Facebook de la parroquia. Tenga en cuenta que NO hace falta tener una cuenta de Facebook para ver estas transmisiones. Por otra parte, a partir del lunes 27 de julio y salvo los días de precepto, dejaremos de transmitir en vivo las Misas de entresemana.
3. El Cardenal Tobin insta a todos los que tengan problemas de salud o sean mayores de 60 años de edad que se queden en casa. Nos recuerda que seguimos dispensados del precepto dominical.
4. Si reserva plaza para asistir a la Misa, deberá llegar a St. Aedan’s 30 minutos antes los domingos y 15 minutos antes entresemana. Cuando llegue a la iglesia, por favor asegúrese de tener su mascarilla puesta e identifíquese al voluntario que está a la entrada. El voluntario le llevará a su banco. Por favor no se mueva a otro sitio ni saque los cordones de los bancos ya que están ahí para velar por el distanciamiento social.
5. Si usted NO se ha inscrito de antemano y ya hay 150 personas en la iglesia, es posible que no se le permita entrar al templo. Si esto ocurre, por favor no se enfade con los voluntarios de la parroquia ni los sacerdotes — estamos siguiendo las directrices de seguridad mandadas por el Cardenal Tobin, el CDC, y el estado. Una vez más, les animamos a que reserven plaza para asistir a la Misa y así evitar este tipo de problema.
6. Antes de la Misa, no habrá oración en grupo, sólo oración en privado / silencio.
7. Podrán encender velas antes de la Misa. Las velas ya estarán en el estante y podrán dejar sus donaciones en la caja blanca que dirá, “Velas.”
8. No habrá colecta durante el ofertorio de las Misas dominicales. Para dejar su donación, por favor déjela en una de las canastas al salir de la iglesia. También les animamos a que hagan sus contribuciones a través del sistema ParishGiving.
9. Tras la bendición final, les pedimos que salgan de la iglesia en silencio cumpliendo con el distanciamiento social. Esto permitirá que el servicio de limpieza de la universidad desinfecte el templo tras cada Misa.
10. Por favor traigan a la iglesia su propio desinfectante para manos.
11. ¡NECESITAMOS VOLUNTARIOS! Para que nuestras Misas sean lo más seguras posible, necesitamos voluntarios que puedan ayudar con las tareas siguientes:
Comprobar los nombres de los que quieren asistir a la Misa en persona con la lista de los que reservaron plaza por internet
Servir como ujier o acomodador ayudando a la gente a sentarse en sus bancos
Dirigir a las personas en la fila de la Comunión
Estar en las puertas de la iglesia con las canastas para la colecta
Ayudar al sacerdote a cerrar la iglesia con llave para que el equipo de la universidad pueda desinfectar el templo.
